LANG 202 ENGLISH IV

The course aims at learning specialised vocabulary relevant to several courses of the Faculty, such as Geophysics, Solid Mechanics, Exploitation, Mineralogy etc. The course is based on texts and exercises of authentic texts and is centred on the development of advanced skills of text and specialised lecture comprehension, as well as, of the ability to write one’s ideas on scientific subjects. The learning material includes teacher’s notes and computer exercises.
